In August last year, the European Commission adopted the main conclusions regarding BREFs (Best Available Techniques Reference Documents) and BAT (Best Available Techniques) regulations that aim at limiting emissions of pollutants from industrial installations, including power plants (dust, SO2, NOx). The new regulations mean that only power plants able to fulfill the EU’s strict emission requirements will be able to operate.
We invite you to a meeting on BREF/BAT regulations and its implications for Poland’s energy sector.
Our speaker will be Ms. Małgorzata Typko, Deputy Director of the Department of Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment and we will discuss challenges the new regulations pose for the power sector and solutions/best practices needed to comply with the new regulations.
Organized by the AmCham Energy Committee, the meeting will take place on Thursday, April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the AmCham Boardroom (Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor).
