EVENT DETAILS
We would like to remind you about the upcoming Marketing & Communications Committee meeting, taking place on Tuesday, April 21 at 9:30 a.m. at the AmCham office (Twarda 18, 16th floor).
This session, titled “Purpose & Profit: Creating Shared Value Through Philanthropy", will explore how marketing and communications can move beyond traditional support functions to become strategic drivers of social impact and business growth.
Together with Malwina Pawłowska, Vice President & Managing Director at the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation, we will discuss how companies can shift from transactional CSR and charitable activities toward long-term, purpose-driven strategies that build brand value, strengthen stakeholder trust, and deliver measurable impact.
The conversation will focus on the practical differences between CSR, ESG, and philanthropy, the shift from charity to systemic change, and – most importantly – the role of marketing in amplifying purpose, engaging audiences, and scaling impact initiatives. We will also explore whether profit and purpose can truly reinforce each other, and how organizations can align communication, business objectives, and social engagement to create sustainable shared value.
The meeting will provide a space for open discussion, exchange of experiences, and inspiration on how marketing leaders can actively shape purpose-driven business strategies.
