Incorporating sustainability into business travel programs is a critical requirement in a world that is increasingly aware of environmental issues.
On behalf of the AmCham Travel & Tourism Committee, we invite you to a meeting entitled Sustainability versus Costs – Best Practices from Business Travel Experts to Optimize the Costs of Implementing Sustainable Travel Strategies. Our speakers will be Emilia Majewska, Senior Manager, Deloitte, and Magdalena Eliasz, General Manager of Bristol Hotel, and we will discuss the perspectives and main challenges of sustainable corporate travel, including:
- CSRD reporting obligation;
- Travel policy wording – how to encourage sustainability and reasonable spending at the same time;
- How to get C-levels and employees onboard with sustainability initiatives and justify cost increase;
- Hotel green certificates;
- Guest experience versus lower emissions;
- How hotels and businesses should cooperate towards more sustainable travel experiences.
