On April 8, the AmCham Travel and Tourism Committee hosted an interactive session on Integrated Sourcing Strategies for Transient and MICE. Many companies still manage these segments separately, missing opportunities to leverage total volume.

Żaneta Szpakowska from PwC Poland and Kamil Ancypa from Radisson Hotels shared insights on combining transient and MICE travel, consolidating data, and aligning internal stakeholders for a cohesive approach. They highlighted practical strategies, including appointing single points of contact, fostering communication, and structuring hotel programs for consistency, while avoiding common pitfalls like treating MICE the same as transient bookings.

The session emphasized that integrated sourcing strengthens negotiation leverage, though group rates and cancellation policies can be complex. Speakers agreed that data, collaboration, and clear roles are key to successfully combining corporate travel and MICE programs—helping companies maximize spend and simplify hotel sourcing.

Thank you to our speakers and Ewa Doromoniec Vieira, the Co-Chair of the AmCham Travel & Tourism Committee, for selecting the topic and moderating the discussion.
