Founded in 1990, the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland stands as the advocate for international investors in Poland. With a diverse membership of over 350 companies representing various sectors, including 80 of the Fortune 500 companies, we boast a significant American presence. At AmCham, we are your voice in Poland, advocating for your interest and providing opportunities for growth and networking.
As an independent, non-profit business association, AmCham operates thanks to the support of its members and sponsors. We hold an accreditation from the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C., and we are a part of AmChams in Europe network, representing the interests of more than 17,000 companies with over $1.1 trillion in investment across the Atlantic.
In recognition of our contributions, the Polish government honored AmCham Poland in 2015 with the Honorary Badge of Merit for the Economic Development of the Republic of Poland. Additionally, nine AmCham members received Poland’s Medal of Honor in 2014, the country’s highest civilian distinction awarded each year by the President of the Republic of Poland to a select number of individuals.
These recognitions showcase the pivotal role AmCham members and their entrepreneurial spirit have played in shaping Poland’s robust economy since 1989.

AmCham's Mission
AmCham actively supports and promotes member interests through global business and political networks, and other AmChams worldwide. We strive to create a platform for international investors to discuss and identify common interests, and exchange information regarding their economic activities in Poland. Our long-term goal is to enhance investment opportunities and the business environment in Poland by:
- Representing members’ interest before Polish and U.S. business and governmental institutions.
- Establishing close ties with Polish authorities to keep members informed and updated on legislation.
- Promoting U.S. trade, investment, finance, industry engagement in Poland.
- Facilitating vital networking opportunities between Polish and international business leaders.
- Offering direct access to the American Government through U.S. Embassy channels.
- Providing crucial business insights via special reports, a quarterly magazine, and social media sites & platforms.
- Championing for corporate governance and good corporate citizenship.
AmCham Activities
Although our main office is in Warsaw, we ensure a local presence in every region. Throughout the year, we organize various events, from Business Mixers to Monthly Meetings, fostering connections and relations between AmCham members and high-level government and business representatives.
Our committees drive meaningful conversations on industry trends and government policies, covering topics such as energy, defense, education, health, tax, innovation, and many others. AmCham also acts as the voice of American business in Poland, engaging in advocacy to promote a growth-oriented business and investment climate.
We offer diverse programs and resources, including “30 Under 30”, a leadership development program, and “The American Investor Desk” guiding investors both in Poland and the U.S. Our official publication, AmCham.Pl Quarterly, keeps our community informed with news as well as leading trends in business and policy. Our other publications include reports on topics related to the Polish economy, investment climate, and business landscape, and articles written by experts from AmCham member companies.
