Challenges and threats of Greenwashing in advertising and communications – April 22
Advertising is the mirror of society – when there are growing concerns and greater scrutiny it is reflected by marketers through the means of communication. When there is need for green transformation, there is a threat that some entities will take advantage of the trend. During the upcoming Committee meeting we will look into ethical sandbanks of Greenwashing phenomena.
Being ethical is a must for brands to thrive on the market and to be seen as trustworthy. However it is no easy answer to the question how ethical advertising should look like. The task of answering that question has been undertaken by Rada Reklamy (Advertising Council) which for 15 years helps to auto-regulate the advertising market.
