EVENT DETAILS

Micro-credentials are becoming increasingly popular in educational and business environments. In the face of rapidly changing trends and technologies, employers must be able to quickly train their employees in new areas to meet their internal and market needs. Micro-credentials enable you to acquire specific competencies in a timely and effective manner and support lifelong learning concept

The Educational Research Institute (Instytut Badań Edukacyjnych; IBE) is responsible for the introduction of micro-credentials idea in Poland. They are conducting the “Micro-credentials – piloting a new solution supporting lifelong learning” project and have created the ‘Badge+’ (‘Odznaka+’) application for issuing, sharing, and collecting digital micro-credentials using the international Open Badges standard

Join us on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 13/1U Przemysłowa Street in Kraków or online.  The meeting will be hosted at the unique space of iLab Plus / Eurokreator , which is a local partner of IBE in Krakow supporting the micro-credentials concept.

At the event, our speaker, Mr. Michał Nowakowski, Educational Research Institute will present the idea of micro-credentials, project assumptions, possibilities of using micro-credentials, and the “Badge+” application and will also answer your questions.

Right after that, we will hear from the Kyndryl team – Mr. Stanislaw Cieśla and Mr. Roman Krzos – who already successfully implemented micro-credentials in their company.

The number of live spots is limited and will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Select live or online attendance when registering. This meeting will be held in Polish with no translation provided
