Security is no longer a conversation limited to the defence sector – it concerns every industry.
Yesterday morning, we held our October Monthly Meeting, opened by Grzegorz Lis, AmCham Executive Director, bringing together business leaders to discuss key takeaways from the Warsaw Security Forum and the role of U.S. companies in strengthening Poland’s and the region’s security.
Moderated by Marta Poslad, Director, CEE & Transatlantic Public Policy at Google & AmCham Chairwoman, the panel featured Agata Foks, Senior Director, Government Relations Poland, GE Aerospace; Krzysztof Krystowski, Country Director, Northrop Grumman; and Laura Wood, Partner, Government and Public Sector; Global Defence Leader, PwC Canada.
The discussion focused on turning commitments into capabilities, deepening U.S.–Polish industrial cooperation through local production and investment in people, and strengthening resilience across defence, cybersecurity, AI and critical infrastructure. One message stood out: readiness requires close cooperation between governments and industry, with capabilities in place when they are needed.
Thank you to The Westin Warsaw for impeccable organization of the event, and thank you to our speakers and members for joining us!
