“AmCham January Monthly Meeting – “”Economic Outlook for 2023″””
The traditional panel discussion on the macroeconomic outlook at the beginning of the year brings AmCham members comprehensive insights and understandings of the current economic situation and near future market perspectives. Poland's geopolitical and geo-economic position in the CEE region has recently had a substantial impact on corporates' strategic decisions. During the meeting, we would like to discuss macroeconomic perspectives regarding GDP growth, the energy crisis, inflation, and the labor market in the upcoming year.
Our panel of experts will include Ms. Beata Javorcik, Chief Economist, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; Ms. Cristina Savescu, Senior Economist, World Bank; Mr. Ryan Bowles, Deputy Economic Counselor, U.S. Embassy; Mr. James Pomeroy, Global Economist at HSBC, and Mr. Grzegorz Słomkowski, former Vice President, Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
