On behalf of the AmCham Real Estate Committee, we invite you to a meeting entitled Energy Transition in Poland – Investments, Infrastructure and New Energy Models. As the energy transition increasingly shapes the real estate and infrastructure markets, new investment opportunities and business models are emerging for both developers and property owners. During the meeting, we will discuss the key market trends, practical considerations and opportunities arising at the intersection of energy and real estate, including:
- Poland’s energy transition and investment opportunities – overview of the OZE/renewables, data center and energy storage markets, and key trends shaping the sector from an investor and developer perspective;
- Transactional and legal framework – structuring transactions involving energy infrastructure – key contractual considerations, grid connection issues and regulatory requirements, from a commercial, transactional and legal perspective;
- On-site power generation – lease vs. ownership models, third-party energy providers, and the potential opportunities for property owners and tenants:
– On-site renewable energy (RES) installations – potential benefits for business;
– Regulatory constraints on energy generation and trading;
– Implementation models for RES installations;
– Current market practice and observed trends.
