EVENT DETAILS

On March 21, 2024, AmCham Digital Committee met with the Ministry of Digital Affairs representatives to discuss the outcomes of the consultations led by the Ministry regarding integrating the Digital Services Act into the Polish legal system. The Digital Services Act, which entered into force on February 17 this year, aims to create a safer digital space for all users of digital services and fosters innovation, growth, and competitiveness both in the European Single Market and globally. As the new regulations will significantly impact certain business models of our member companies, AmCham has been actively involved in the consultations led by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. To express our interest in participating in further stages of the legislative process, we invited representatives from the Department of International Cooperation and Analyses of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Our guests were Mateusz Sztobryn, Deputy Director, and Jarosław Sekuła, Chief of Internet Governance, International Digital Regulations Section. We discussed the details of regulations entering the implementation phase and potential partnerships between the Ministry and businesses.
