Energy, security, and cooperation were the key themes of a recent meeting between U.S. company representatives in Pomerania and U.S. Ambassador to Poland Thomas Rose. The meeting took place in Gdańsk during the PowerConnect – Energy Fair and Conference, hosted by AmCham Gdańsk.

The discussion created a focused platform for business dialogue, enabling participants to exchange perspectives and address key development challenges in the Pomerania and Tricity region.

Pomerania is increasingly positioning itself as:
– a key hub for the energy transition
– a region attracting strategic investments
– a space for international cooperation, particularly in transatlantic relations

The discussion highlighted the importance of:
– building a stable and predictable investment environment,
– strengthening partnerships between business and public institutions,

– maintaining open dialogue in the context of dynamic geopolitical and technological change.
It also emphasized the importance of direct connections between the United States and Gdańsk in supporting investment flows and fostering economic cooperation.

The meeting was moderated by Honorata Hencel, Member of the AmCham Board of Directors, and hosted bydr Barbara Stepnowska, Director of the AmCham Gdańsk Branch.

We were pleased to welcome representatives of the U.S. Embassy Warsaw: Nathan Reich, Stephanie Boles, Katherine Scheidt, and Katarzyna Szyndel. It was a pleasure to host you in Gdańsk.
