EVENT DETAILS
When was the last time you saw steel being manufactured with your own eyes? The next AmCham Industry and Energy Committee meeting will be held at the Commercial Metals Company (CMC) Poland Steel Plant in Zawiercie on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In the first part of the event, the CMC team will lead a plant tour, offering insight into what makes CMC operations unique compared to traditional steel plants and highlighting the importance of a sustainable and predictable energy supply in this strategic sector.
During the second part of the meeting, we invite you to join the Committee discussion to review and refine AmCham’s energy priorities, which will be presented to the new Energy Attaché at the U.S. Embassy (date to be announced soon). Don’t miss this opportunity if you or your company wants to contribute to the ongoing AmCham and Department of Energy discussions.
Spots for this meeting are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure convenience, the event’s start and end times align with the train schedule, allowing attendees to travel comfortably between Warsaw and Zawiercie. The plant tour will be preceded by a safety training. We recommend dressing appropriately for this event—please avoid suits, white shirts, high heels, and similar attire.
