EVENT DETAILS
On Tuesday morning, we had the pleasure of conducting May Monthly Meeting with Eliza Zeidler, Secretary of State at the Ministerstwo Aktywów Państwowych (Ministry of State Assets), to discuss key aspects of Polish-American economic cooperation.
Our conversation moderated by Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, focused on the evolving role of Polish state-owned companies in strengthening transatlantic ties, with particular emphasis on strategic sectors such as defense and energy. We also explored the growing presence of American companies in Poland and examined how foreign direct investment contributes to enhancing the country’s economic security.
An important part of the discussion was dedicated to local content requirements and the opportunities for collaboration between Polish state-owned enterprises and US investors in the reconstruction of Ukraine. In this context, we also highlighted the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, where AmCham Poland will be actively involved.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging perspectives and identifying areas for deeper cooperation in the months ahead.
Thank you to all the participants of the meeting, and thank you to The Westin Warsaw for the impeccable organization of the event.
