EVENT DETAILS

The way we approach Artificial Intelligence will define the world we will live in the future. To help build a resilient Europe for the digital decade, people and businesses should be able to enjoy the benefits of AI while feeling safe and protected. As part of its digital strategy, the EU wants to regulate artificial intelligence to ensure better conditions for developing and using this innovative technology.

On behalf of the AmCham Digital Committee, we invite you to a meeting on the government strategy and action plan regarding adoption of AI Act. We would like to delve into the discussion regarding the regulations currently entering implementation phase across the EU, including Poland, that are strongly impacting future business models of digital companies, especially the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act.

We will host Ms. Marianna Sidoroff, Director of the Digital Economy Department at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. Our guest will be accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs:  Michał Pukaluk, Deputy Director; and Magdalena Malinowska-Wójcicka, Legal Counsel, and representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM): Piotr Kobielski and Łukasz Mieszkowski, Counsels of the Economic Department.

The meeting will be held in Polish and will take place on Tuesday, November 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. We encourage you to visit the AmCham office, Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor (live tickets are limited to 20 people; for those registering live, we ask you to click the live ticket). The Webex link will be sent to all online attendants before the event. We invite one representative per company.
