The Polish government has officially announced the construction of the new Central Polish Airport (CPA) in Stanisławów, about a one hour drive to the West of Warsaw. The new investment is initially planned to handle 50 million passengers per year (eventually increasing to 100 million) and will become a major aviation and transport hub for CEE which will have significant impact on the location of businesses in and near Warsaw. The Government Plenipotentiary for CPA will be former Deputy Minister of the Treasury, Mr. Mikołaj Wild, responsible for the preparation and supervision of the project.
We are happy to invite you to a meeting with Mr. Wild on Tuesday, November 14, to discuss the concept of the investment, time schedule, financing structure and potential cooperation with foreign investors. We will also host Mr. Jędrzej Puzyński, Program Director at Zespół Doradców Gospodarczych TOR, a consulting company, specialized in transport and infrastructure sector, who will provide additional insight on the topic.
The meeting organized by the AmCham Travel & Tourism Committee, will start at 9:30 a.m. in the AmCham Boardroom (Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor).
