Changes in the R&D Tax Relief

December 13

Research & Development (R&D) tax relief in Poland was introduced in 2016 into CIT and PIT provisions to encourage entrepreneurs to carry out more R&D work. In terms of expenditure on R&D, Poland is behind most European countries; over the next 10 years entrepreneurs should increase R&D investment to offset the average European level.

The current rules define R&D activities broadly. The right to R&D relief is not reserved exclusively for entrepreneurs engaged in specialized research, but is also available to entrepreneurs who work on the implementation of new or existing products or services.

We invite you to a meeting on R&D Tax Relief with speakers from KPMG Global R&D Incentives Network, Mr. Kiejstut Żagun, Director, Tax, Grants & Incentives and Mr. Bartosz Igielski, Manager.

Organized by the AmCham Tax & Financial Services Committee, the meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the AmCham Boardroom (Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor).
