Due to the ongoing public consultation regarding the Act amending the Act on preventing and combating infections and infectious diseases among people and certain other acts, AmCham, along with other international chambers in Poland, submitted a joint position paper.
We support creating the Compensation Fund, although we are against the proposed regulations introducing the obligation for entities supplying vaccines to pay 1,5% of the gross contract value to the Fund. The Chambers of Commerce see no justification for charging vaccine companies, which are already incurring enormous costs to meet market access requirements.
