Marta joined Google in 2012 and before assuming her current position, she was responsible for Google’s privacy & security policy in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, based out of London. In 2016 she moved back to Warsaw and she is currently the company’s director of public policy for Central and Eastern Europe as well as Transatlantic relations. She is also part of Google’s local management group.

Marta has been elected to the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland’s board of directors for three consecutive terms. In 2024 she was appointed Vice-Chairwoman of the organization and in January 2025 she was elected the Chairwoman. Since 2023 she has also been a member of the Digitization Council, an advisory body of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

She holds master’s degrees in sociology from the University of Cambridge and in political science from the University of Warsaw. Marta is an Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow and a Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action. She is an alumna of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights’ seminars, the leadership program run by The New School in New York City, and the Hoover Institution’s International Seminar at Stanford University.
