Leszek HołdaPresident

Bechtel Polska

Leszek-Holda

Dear AmCham Poland,

We say that “better is the enemy of good”, which is why my candidacy is not about proposing a confrontation, but about supplementing the team with new energy, including not only the nuclear one.

My name is Leszek Hołda, and I am the President of Bechtel Polska. Together with our partner, Westinghouse, we are building the first Polish nuclear plant.

The project is an unprecedented undertaking. This investment will cement cooperation between Poland and the United States. My membership in AmCham Board of Directors can become a magnet attracting new AmCham members as well as partners, also from the government, for cooperation and substantive discussion. By building Poland’s first nuclear power plant, we aim to lay the foundation for a robust new nuclear industry in Poland, creating a skilled workforce supported by American expertise. From the outset, we have sought to involve Polish entities, engineers, and workers in this undertaking. We are proud to be making strides toward this goal, establishing a major office in Warsaw and partnering with Polish firms on the construction site.

I would like to actively use all my previous professional experience, that is coming also from the infrastructure and IT/telco sector. Before taking up my current position, I built my experience working for PKP Energetyka, which was in the portfolio of CVC Capital Partners.

I strongly believe that my contribution will support the further dynamic development of AmCham, so I count and thank you in advance for every vote for my candidacy.
