Honorata Hencel, Managing Director for Poland and Ukraine, joined Boeing in August 2015. Based in Gdańsk, she is responsible for strategy development and maintaining relationships with the Polish and Ukrainian governments, industry leaders, business executives, community leaders, and key stakeholders.

Hencel is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of professional experience. She has worked with airlines, avionics manufacturers, and software providers in the highly regulated aviation industry. In her previous role, she coordinated IT services for 8,000 employees across Europe, the UK, Israel, and Ukraine.

Additionally, Hencel was responsible for shaping strategy and implementing programs to support the development and optimization of Boeing’s business in Poland. She chairs the European branch of Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership and is a co-founder of the Aviation Hub Pomerania aviation cluster.

In September 2024, Honorata Hencel was recognized by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) with the Distinguished Global Leader Award.

Hencel holds a degree in Economics from the University of Gdańsk and a degree in E-Health Medicine from Rome Business School. She also completed postgraduate studies in management at Gdańsk University of Technology and in the aviation and tourism industry at Greenwich School of Management in London.
