Dorota Dabrowski-Winterscheid is currently Principal of DDW Advisory where she helps SMEs with their business development and market entry strategies, as well as their Network Intelligence. Previously, she spent almost 20 years as the Managing Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland where she was responsible for keeping the organization active, esteemed, and well-networked. The Chamber focuses on activities that improve the business climate in Poland while fostering a positive relationship with local and national governments. Under her leadership, it grew into an organization with over 350 members, a league of active working groups, and flagship events like the “AmCham Diner”.

Ms. Dabrowski has served on the Executive Council of AmChams in Europe, was a founder of the Polish Professional Women Network (PWnet) and KlubMBA, as well as, a juror in the “Złote Spinacze” PR awards, for Students in Free Enterprise (now Enactus) and other competitions. She is also a Competent Toastmaster.  

In her early years, Ms. Dabrowski worked as an accountant at PwC and Shell, was a journalist at the Warsaw Business Journal, and ran a freight forwarding company for four years. She graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1992 with a BA in Economics and Slavic Studies. She earned her MBA from the University of Calgary at the Warsaw School of Economics. She is a native of Texas, but has called Poland home since 1992. She is married with one daughter.
