The interconnected proposals cover areas of climate, land use, energy, transport and taxation to bring them into line with the targets agreed in the European Climate Law.
The new set of legislation will significantly impact all the businesses within the EU. For that reason, we want to invite you to the meeting, which opens a discussion on 'Fit for 55' and will help our members to understand the assumptions of the package better. The guest of the meeting will be Paweł Rożycki from the Strategy and Climate Transformation Planning Department of the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
Join us online on November 24th, 9:30 – 10:30 to get initial information on 'Fit for 55' directly from the responsible Department in the Ministry, including presentation of the package assumptions, the timeline and milestones and position of the Ministry towards 'Fit for 55'.
The aim of the meeting is also to build a group of interested members, companies and individuals to start a regular dialogue and information exchange with the Ministry.
Due to the importance of the topic, we would like to welcome all our members, especially from Manufacturing, Agri, Food & FMCG, Industry & Energy and Sustainability Committees.
We are planning an interactive meeting, with the possibility to ask questions. Should you have any questions you want us to ask – you can send them to [email protected] until November 19th, EOB.
