On February 24, 2026, the AmCham Sustainability Committee held its first networking and introductory meeting of the year, bringing members together to present the committee’s program and outline its key priorities for the months ahead.
The meeting aimed to foster stronger connections among participants, gain a clearer understanding of expectations and needs, and identify the topics most relevant and valuable to the group. It was an engaging and productive discussion that highlighted the strong interest and commitment of our members.
Among the topics participants expressed interest in were: best practices and regulatory developments, green fuels, sustainability reporting, greenwashing, financial grants and funding opportunities, databases and technological solutions, and building competencies to ensure long-term resilience and security. The diversity of these themes reflects both the complexity and the importance of sustainability across industries.
With such a wide range of relevant and forward-looking subjects on the agenda, we are looking forward to a dynamic year ahead.
