Re-launch of the AmCham Industry Committee – Internal Roundtable Discussion

Last Friday, we brought together members passionate about Poland’s industrial development and those for whom manufacturing processes are the true “bread and butter” of business to mark the re-launch of the AmCham Industry Committee. The Committee recently split from the former Industry & Energy Committee to allow a sharper focus on the unique needs of both groups.
We were proud to introduce our new Committee Co-Chairs: Joanna Chmielak, Fortinet, and Mariusz Wawer, 3M, with Mateusz Jurczyk continuing as committee coordinator.
The Co-Chairs presented the Committee’s focus areas and, most importantly, led an open discussion that gave participants the chance to contribute directly to the agenda. Key issues raised included: workforce availability and upskilling, technical & vocational education, cyber and physical supply chain security, digitalization and robotization (implementation & financing), industrial decarbonization and energy efficiency, and finally workplace safety & EHS.
The meeting demonstrated that Industry Committee topics will also engage experts from other AmCham Committees, particularly HR, Defense, and Digital, to provide the best knowledge and recommendations to support the development of industries in Poland.
