“Dangers are not within the transatlantic alliance - dangers are elsewhere” stated Mr. Marcin Bosacki, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland (Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych) during our November Monthly Meeting.
Together with Minister Bosacki and Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, we discussed the Polish - US relationship and our growing economic ties. Minister Bosacki underlined the importance of this partnership, noting that trade between our two countries has reached record levels this year and that military and defense cooperation is thriving. When asked what he feels about Poland being seen as a model ally, Minister Bosacki replied: “We are proud, and we think we deserve it.” He also encouraged AmCham members to share their positive impressions of Poland within their professional and personal networks.
In our conversation with Minister Bosacki, we also covered Ukraine’s reconstruction, energy transformation, technology, and security, as well as the importance of economic diplomacy and expanding Polish investments beyond the EU.
Our sincere thanks to Minister Bosacki for his time and valuable perspective during yesterday morning’s discussion.
We would also like to give special thanks to ICEA, our newest member company, for providing us with original “Rogale Świętomarcińskie” for our meeting – a traditional pastry from Poznań. It was a delicious surprise and a wonderful taste of Polish, local cuisine, for all of us!
Thank you to Hotel Verte, Warsaw, Autograph Collection for the outstanding organization of this event.
