On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, AmCham Tax & Financial Services Committee organized a meeting entitled "New JPK-CIT regulation. What changes can we expect?" The speakers were representatives of PwC, an AmCham member company: Agnieszka Piętak, Senior Manager, and Przemysław Grzanka, Manager. Together we discussed the new reporting requirements and how to prepare for the obligation to submit JPK CIT.
According to our speakers, the implementation of the new structure could be a challenge as it will require collecting a wide catalog of data expected by tax authorities. Some other challenges will be a review and adjustment of processes and technical preparation like adaptation of existing systems and implementation of new solutions. The upcoming months will be crucial to developing the market practice in the field of reporting new structures which will be not easy due to the uncertainty in interpretations of regulations.
