On February 7, 2024, we had a pleasure to organise a Monthly Meeting with Mr. Jacek Tomczak - Secretary of State at Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
This meeting with Minister Tomczak is one of first that we are organising with the new government to start a dialogue and create favourable business climate for foreign investors in Poland.
Tony Housh, AmCham Chairman, and Min Tomczak discussed Polish-American relationship that is extremely strong. Min Tomczak underlined the importance of this partnership that should be constantly developed. He stated that there is considerable potential for American investors and companies to be even more active in the Polish market, especially with the innovative ideas and digital solutions. Min Tomczak also brought our attention to what new Polish government will focus on - legal stability and predictability, development of Polish economy, and considerable opportunities for investors wanting to strom the Polish market. He also emphasised how significant the digitization of processes is.
We also had a pleasure to be introduced to the Mr. Maciej Falkowski, Deputy Director at Department of Trade and International Cooperation, and Mr. Marcin Fabianowicz, Director of Centre for Strategic Investments at Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) , who provided their invaluable input and told us about the activities that their institutions are focusing on, under the moderation of Marta Pawlak, Legal & Public Policy Director at AmCham.
