On March 6, 2024, we held March Monthly Meeting with Ryszard Petru, Chairman of the Economy and Development Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. It was a great discussion on economy, investment, and growth of the Polish market.
Tony Housh, AmCham Chairman, stated that “We are operating in challenging regional and global environment.” He also underlined the important role that government plays in shaping laws and impacting policies which benefit the economy, the investors, and opportunities available for people. Mr. Petru endorsed our Chairman’s points and ensured us that the government is actively engaged in creating the most favourable and robust business climate in Poland.
During this meeting, Mr. Petru talked about judicial system in Poland, National Reconstruction Plan and how to allocate the money Poland will receive, and the importance of transparent process of law creation so crucial for the business sector.
Mr. Petru also touched upon making Poland even more alluring and inviting for foreign investors. He stressed the importance of growth as a key factor that attracts those who want to invest in our country.
