On June 12, 2024 we had an honour to hold June Monthly Meeting at the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador, Mark Brzezinski. The event was attended by over 200 AmCham members.

Tony Housh, AmCham Chairman, opened the meeting and thanked Mr. Ambassador and Olga Leonowicz for welcoming us in their home. Tony underlined how important and valuable this meeting is, and stated that “We are making a difference in shaping this economy.” He also reminded all the members that “AmCham is successful because you are successful.”

After Tony’s speech, we were welcomed by Ambassador Brzezinski, who expressed his happiness to host us. He also said that he believes that it is a great time to be in Poland right now as we are all committed to building a better future. Ambassador Brzezinski emphasized that “Poland is safe and secure” as the United States and Poland not only share an agenda, but also a special relationship. During his address, Mr. Ambassador mentioned 6 areas that make Poland an anchor for the entire region - humanitarian work, embracing human rights, rule of law, investment, energy, and military relationship with the U.S. Last but not least, he reminded us that our members “are a part of machinery that drives us all forward.”

Olga Leonowicz, to whom we could also listen, stressed the significance of inclusivity, equality, and diversity, and thanked all the AmCham members for staying true to those essential values.

During the meeting we also thanked Zofia Sobiepanek, Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Office of the U.S. Embassy Warsaw, who will be retiring soon. Once again, thank you, Zofia, for your work. It was a pure pleasure to cooperate with you over the years! We wish you all the best.
