EVENT DETAILS
On 4th of June, we had the pleasure of hosting our June Monthly Meeting with Daniel Lawton, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the U.S. Embassy Warsaw.
The meeting, moderated by Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with Chargé d’Affaires Lawton on key issues impacting American businesses in Poland.
Mr. Lawton shared his insights on U.S.-Poland relations, as well as the broader challenges facing both countries and the global community. He emphasized the strength of the U.S.-Poland partnership and noted that business thrives when we collaborate. He also highlighted Poland as a prime destination for American investment and a standout example of successful economic transformation.
We also touched upon the topics of Polish investments in the United States, Ukraine’s reconstruction, the energy sector, and the importance of free speech.
We were honored to welcome Georgette Mosbacher, former U.S. Ambassador to Poland, at our meeting. Thank you, Ms. Mosbacher, for joining us that morning!
Additionally, we bid a fond farewell to Anna Janczewska, Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Office in Warsaw, who is retiring. Thank you, Ania, for your years of close cooperation and unwavering support—it has truly been a pleasure.
Thank you to Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Warsaw for the impeccable organization of this event!
