EVENT DETAILS

Yesterday, we hosted our February Monthly Meeting dedicated to “Poland and the G20: A Business Leaders’ Perspective.”

Under moderation of Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, our panelists - Piotr Kalisz, CFA, Chief Economist, Citi Handlowy; James Katzen, Business Development Director for CEE, Lockheed Martin; Luiza Luranc-Jaworek, Sales Director, ManpowerGroup Poland; Ary Naim, Head of Country Representation for Poland, The World Bank and Krystian Ochęcki, Head of Government Affairs & Policy, Mastercard, Czech Republic and Slovakia - discussed about Poland’s evolving role in the global economic landscape.

We discussed how Poland’s expanding economic scale, strategic location, and strong transatlantic ties are reinforcing its position as a regional hub for manufacturing, finance, and technology. Our panelists emphasized Poland’s competitive advantage in talent: a highly skilled, highly engaged workforce that continues to attract investment in advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, and AI-driven innovation. We also explored what a potential G20 role could mean for Poland.

Thank you to our panelists for joining us this morning!

Thank you to The Westin Warsaw for the impeccable organization of the event!
