Governments around the world are shaping net-zero strategies for a sustainable society and businesses are reviewing how their tax strategies might need to adapt to support environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
On behalf of the AmCham Tax & Financial Services Committee, we invite you to a meeting ESG in Taxes – the Crucial Part of Companies Strategic Objectives. Our speakers will be from PwC, an AmCham member company, Ms. Dorota Bokszczanin, Director and Mr. Tomasz Gajtkowski, Manager and we will discuss:
1. ESG in Tax
- What is ESG and how does it impact taxes?
- What is the scope of new ESG related tax obligations?
- ESG as value creator - potential benefits for organizations;
2. Tax as a contribution to the society & tax transparency:
- Legislation developments;
- Best practices;
- Cooperative compliance;
3. Managing taxes as an integral part of wider sustainability strategy and linking it to ESG and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals);
4. Reporting aspects (Total Tax Contribution, Global Reporting Initiative - GRI 207, Public Country by Country Reporting - CbCR etc.).
