AmCham Industry Committee: Financing the Green, Digital, and Defense Industrial Transformation

EVENT DETAILS
As defined in the European Green Deal, the green transformation focuses on decarbonization by reducing fossil fuel use, increasing use of renewable energy sources, and improving energy efficiency. To tackle climate, competitiveness, and critical raw material challenges, the European Commission has revised the plan to decarbonize European industry. Growing geopolitical threats highlights the need for greater public funding in the widely understood defense sector – not only traditional arms but also areas like cybersecurity, autonomous technologies, drones, and navigation systems.
One of the key issues for ensuring security, as well as for implementing ambitious plans to strengthen the competitiveness of the European Union and reduce environmental impacts, is the availability of support instruments that enable necessary actions to be carried out with public co-funding.
Join us at the AmCham Office in Warsaw (18 Twarda Street) and online on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Our expert, Dominika Alicka, from Deloitte will focus on:
• currently available instruments supporting investment, including digitization and automation of the green transformation and energy sector, as well as regulatory changes that may affect aid programs,
• currently available and planned support programs for the defense sector,
• key requirements for obtaining support and critical success factors.
After her presentation, we will open the floor to your questions and concerns in this area.
Please note: The meeting will be conducted in Polish, with no translation provided. Online access is still possible – select that option during the registation. Live spota has already been sold out.
