AmCham Annual General Meeting 2023

On December 11, 2024, we held our Annual AmCham General Meeting followed by a Christmas Reception at the The Westin Warsaw that perfectly summed up our whole year. What an exciting event it was!

Tony Housh, an AmCham Chairman, opened the meeting and welcomed all the guests. He presented the Annual AmCham Report 2023, https://lnkd.in/dNNu2WEz, and the Auditor’s report from PwC Polska. During this meeting, we also voted on the amendments to the AmCham constitution proposed by the Board of Directors. We appreciate the work of the Board of Directors and Leadership Team in the discussion and preparation of this resolutions.

During the evening we had the great honor of hosting our Honorary Chairman Mark Brzezinski, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, who underscored the importance of American investment in Poland for the robust economic climate and favorable job market. Additionally, he stated that AmCham Poland is, in his opinion, the best AmCham he had a pleasure of working with in his career.

His comments reinforced our message to the Membership that AmCham is committed to promoting an agenda of peace and prosperity for Poland and the region, support for democratic, free market values and a workforce & society that provides opportunity and equality.

Following the Ambassador’s speech, we expressed our appreciation to former AmCham Chairman who each received a recognition of life- time Honorary Membership in AmCham: Mac Raczkiewicz, Roman Rewald, and Joseph Wancer. Their vision and leadership during our first several decades of work laid the foundation for the success of the organization today.

We also honored those AmCham member companies that have been with us from the very beginning, for over 30 years, and we awarded them with certificates of recognition.
