EVENT DETAILS
Artificial Intelligence in recruitment offers data-driven insights and automates time-consuming tasks, but there are areas where it struggles.
Should we include sports and hobbies in our CVs, what are the do’s and don’ts with candidate data, and what do HR leaders need to know about the AI Act? These and other topics have been discussed at yesterday’s HR Committee’s meeting entitled AI in recruitment: What AI won’t do for you?
There is a growing pressure to automate processes in recruitment and people management, still to be effective in talent attraction, we need to use an individual/personal touch. The question remains how to implement artificial intelligence to make sure it does not replace humans but supports some manual processes to save time for human connection and strategic decisions.
The EU Act (to be implemented next year) will reshape the most common policies in recruitment like applicant tracking systems, video interviews among others, so on so many recruitment processes will need to adapt. To make sure we are prepared for the new, HR leaders need to establish AI governance, train HR leaders, audit existing tools, and document processes.
Thank you to speakers, Krzysztof Deniusiuk, Senior Associate Manager and Maksymilian Gralec, Consultant from Michael Page, an AmCham member company, and Małgorzata Grzelak and Piotr Zygmunt for moderating the discussion.
