A hacking attack, a lost laptop or an employee’s error –  data security breaches can happen in the best managed organizations and they require immediate and efficient action. On November 8, AmCham Business Technology & Services held a seminar on Data Breach. Plan for the first 72 hours. The speakers were Counsels,  Ms. Magdalena Kogut-Czarkowska, Radosław Nożykowski of Baker McKenzie and Andrzej Bartosiewicz, Director of Critical Information Security Systems and Cybersecurity and we discussed the decision making process from the moment the breach is detected to the potential notification of authorities and steps to be taken to secure evidence and fulfill obligations to avoid penalties.
