AmCham Poland was invited to participate in public consultations regarding the strategic document on the main directions of digital policies in Poland – Poland’s Digitalisation Strategy to 2035. In an elaborate position paper sent to the Ministry, we have included comments and feedback from AmCham member companies.
Key comments included:
  1. The need for more coordinated and broader educational activities on digital issues, especially in public administration,
  2. The importance of a more ambitious and comprehensive cloud policy,
  3. Regulatory developments favoring the use of cloud computing,
  4. The benefits of faster digitalisation of health services, as well as the removal of excessive administrative burdens in this regard,
  5. The need for greater attention to the audiovisual and gaming sectors.
  6. The links between digital policies and the energy transition and the need for cheap green energy,
  7. Aspects overlooked in the development of the strategy, such as the development of the financial technolgy sector, e-voting in professional bodies or the introduction of a legal framework for the licensing of Standard Essential Patents.
