On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, AmCham Manufacturing Committee organized a meeting that combined a virtual visit to the Pilotfabrik in Austria and virtual networking.
Event participants had a chance to experience Industry 4.0 technologies, understand how technology will shape the future of the industry and how it can increase the efficiency of production. Our guide: Prof. Michael Heiss – Principal Consultant for Digital Enterprise at Siemens AG Austria, took all the participants through the benefits resulting from the implementation of each presented technology in a smart production environment.
In the second part of the event, we invited our guests to an online networking session on the Airmeet platform. Both our speaker and host – Ewa Mikos-Romanowicz, joined meeting participants around the virtual tables, to answer all the detailed questions of our participants representing various industries and businesses
