EVENT DETAILS

On behalf of the AmCham Tax & Financial Services Committee, we invite you to a practical discussion on Poland’s Mandatory Disclosure Rules (MDR) following the changes of October 1 this year.

We will discuss which businesses benefit from a genuine reduction in compliance burdens, and which may, paradoxically, face new reporting obligations? We will explore how the changes affect the assessment of cross-border arrangements, the main benefit test and the allocation of reporting responsibilities between companies and their advisers.

Using practical examples, we will discuss the implications for specific arrangements, as well as how to adapt internal MDR processes, reassess previous reporting decisions and manage outstanding obligations. The session will focus on what finance and tax teams should retain, simplify or change in their day-to-day approach to MDR, with time for questions and discussion.

Our speaker will be Łukasz Kempa, Director in the Tax Advisory Department at Forvis Mazars, a tax adviser and university lecturer who has completed over 100 projects concerning MDR and is the author of a book on tax procedures in companies, with a focus on MDR procedures.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We encourage you to visit the AmCham office, Spektrum, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor (live tickets are limited to 30 people; for those registering live, please click the live ticket). If you prefer to attend the meeting online, you will receive a Webex link before the event.
