EVENT DETAILS

We are proud to be back at MSPO in Kielce once again this year!

Defense and security remain a strategic priority, and American companies continue to be a key pillar of this sector in Poland. Our presence at MSPO reflects just how important these partnerships are, both for AmCham and for our members.

Our High-Level Executive Networking Event on September 8, 2026, brought together top representatives from government, business, and the defense community. The event opened with remarks from Honorata Hencel, Boeing & AmCham Board Member, followed by a welcome speech by Elzbieta Czetwertynska, AmCham Board Member, representing the event’s Main Partner Citi Handlowy.

Guests also enjoyed speeches by Thomas Rose, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, and Grzegorz Wrona, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets. We were also honored to welcome representatives from the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of State Assets and the Polish Armed Forces during the event.

We continued our presence at MSPO in Kielce with an Executive Discussion on “From Cooperation and Procurement to Building a Strong Polish Defense Industry” on Spetmeber 9,2026.

Our conversation highlighted a shared vision: the future of US-Poland defense cooperation is moving beyond procurement toward deep partnership – focusing on long-term investment, technology transfer, co-production, and a sustainable industrial presence in Poland.

The Roundtable brought together government representatives, business leaders, military and representatives of both defense and non-defense companies for a discussion on security and, importantly, the future of Poland’s defense industry. Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka and Minister Konrad Gołota joined the discussion, alongside representatives of the AmCham community and leading international companies. Marta Poślad, AmCham Chairwoman and Google, and Elzbieta Czetwertynska, AmCham Board Member and Citi Handlowy, opened the event.

We were also pleased to welcome Col. Paweł Jędryczka, Deputy Commander of the Medical Forces, and thank him for joining us at the event.

Key themes included strengthening the permanent US presence in Poland, expanding local production and service capabilities, developing Joint Ventures and co-production, and ensuring that investment creates lasting value in Poland – from Polish suppliers and skills to knowledge and technology transfer.

The discussion also highlighted Poland’s potential to become a regional industrial and export hub, and the important role US companies – across both defense and non-defense sectors – can play in building a strong, competitive Polish defense industry.

A huge thank you to our Main Partner, Citi Handlowy, and to all our Partners for making this event possible: AECOM, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cummins Inc., Emerson, Google, Greenberg Traurig Poland, Jacobs, KPMG, L3Harris Technologies, Philips, Savills Poland, Spyrosoft, White & Case LLP.
