The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, represented by Minister Michał Baranowski, hosted a high-level meeting focused on the future of advanced manufacturing, automation, and robotics in Poland.
AmCham Poland's Industry Committee was pleased to contribute to this important dialogue and to support collaboration between business and government aimed at strengthening Poland's position as a leading destination for advanced manufacturing investment and innovation.
The event was held as part of the Advanced Manufacturing Trade Mission organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw. Bringing together American and Polish companies, government representatives, and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the continued growth of U.S. investment in Poland and the development of modern manufacturing capabilities.
A key element of the program was the panel discussion, “Opportunities and Challenges in Advanced Manufacturing in Poland,” moderated by Jim Lindley. Industry leaders representing manufacturing, automation, aerospace, and consumer goods sectors exchanged perspectives on the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the industry.
Panelists included representatives of CANPACK Group, Rockwell Automation, L3Harris Technologies, PepsiCo, and 3M, who shared examples of advanced manufacturing technologies and best practices implemented across their organizations.
The discussion focused on several strategic priorities for Poland's industrial development, including industrial decarbonization and energy transformation, workforce availability and skills development, technical and vocational education, cybersecurity within supply chains, and the digitalization and robotization of manufacturing processes.
