We are pleased to invite you to our February Monthly Meeting – a panel discussion: “Poland and the G20: A Business Leaders’ Perspective”.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. (registration from 8:30 a.m) at the Westin Warsaw Hotel (Al. Jana Pawła II 21).
Poland’s expanding economic scale, resilience to global shocks, and strategic location at the heart of Europe are increasingly positioning the country as a relevant player in global affairs. As discussions around the shifting centers of international economic influence intensify, understanding how international business leaders perceive Poland’s role, credibility, and readiness becomes particularly timely.
This session will bring together senior representatives of leading American companies investing in Poland to provide a business-driven assessment of Poland’s economic trajectory. The discussion will explore how international investors evaluate the development of the Polish economy, the strength and predictability of its institutions, and Poland’s capacity to engage more actively in shaping international economic policies, including in the context of potential G20 membership.
The conversation will also examine how major global trends such as shifting geopolitics, changing supply chains, digital transformation, and the energy transition are shaping investment decisions and reinforcing Poland’s emerging role as a regional hub for manufacturing, technology, finance, and logistics.
The aim of the session is to deliver practical, forward-looking insights for decision-makers by capturing how global investors currently assess Poland’s key competitive advantages, where they continue to see structural challenges or risks, and what concrete actions could further strengthen Poland’s credibility and positioning as a strategic economic partner on the global stage.
Our panelists will include: Piotr Kalisz, Chief Economist, Citi Handlowy; James Katzen, Business Development Director for CEE, Lockheed Martin; Luiza Luranc-Jaworek, Sales Director, ManpowerGroup Poland; Ary Naïm, Head of Country Representation for Poland, World Bank Group and Krystian Ochęcki, Head of Government Affairs & Policy, Mastercard Europe for Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Marta Poślad, AmCham Chairwoman.
We expect this to be a high-level and timely discussion, delivering practical insights for our members and stakeholders.
Best regards.
