The growing importance of defense-related topics brought AmCham Poland to MSPO 2025. This remarkable event draws the global defense industry’s attention to Kielce  every September. American companies have always been at the heart of the fair, making a strong impact through their presence and contributions. To support our member companies and highlight the significance of the Polish-American alliance, we were proud to mark our presence at MSPO this year.

On Day 1, Tony Housh, AmCham Board Member, participated in the opening of the American Pavilion. At the close of Day 2, we had the pleasure of guiding US Consul General Gretchen McKeever Cureton and her team through the booths of AmCham member companies. It was an excellent opportunity for the Consul General to meet many of them for the first time and learn about their involvement in Poland’s defense programs.

The centerpiece of AmCham’s participation was the business breakfast co-hosted with Citi on Wednesday. Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, opened the event together with Maciej Kropidłowski, Vice President of the Management Board, Citi. The discussion was then launched by Honorata Hencel, AmCham Board Member, focusing on the challenges and opportunities for Polish-American cooperation in the defense sector. In their opening remarks, Consul General Gretchen McKeever Cureton, General Karol Molenda, and Col. Richard Bush Jr., shared their perspectives on this important topic. They were followed by representatives of the largest American investors in the sector operating in Poland, who emphasized the sector’s rapid growth and vast potential, while also pointing to key challenges: unequal access to the procurement market, risks of discrimination in access to R&D funding, and lengthy administrative processes. Tony Housh concluded the meeting and opened the networking session, which gave participants the chance to continue discussions in a more informal setting over breakfast.
