The Polish Parliament recently passed a groundbreaking whistleblower protection law, a significant stride towards fostering an ethical business environment. The law aims to support individuals taking risks in pursuing the common good. Employees, former employees, officers, professional soldiers, contractors, trainees, or volunteers can now receive protection as whistleblowers.

Delved into key aspects of the new law at a business breakfast co-hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland with PCS Paruch Chruściel Schiffter Stępień Kanclerz | Littler. Karolina Kanclerz and Marcin Sanetra from PCS Paruch Chruściel Schiffter Stępień Kanclerz | Littler shared insights as keynote speakers.

Explored topics included strategies for detecting and addressing mobbing and harassment, safeguarding employees, eliciting internal reports, and the law's impact on reporting labor infractions. Discussed necessary internal policy modifications for preventing harassment and mobbing.

Appreciation to the AmCham member companies in Wroclaw for their active participation and valuable contributions. Look forward to engaging further post-summer months, which might be busy for employers.
