We are pleased to invite you to our next Monthly Meeting on March 2, 2022.
Our guest speaker will be Mr. Tomasz Chróstny,President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel (Ballroom ABC).
Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, being the central area of interest of UOKiK, is a vital issue for developing a market economy and stimulating an increase in business efficiency.
During the meeting with Mr. Chróstny, we would like to discuss the key plans and priorities for UOKiK in 2022. We are particularly interested in the planned changes in consumer law, including the Omnibus Directive, as well as the new EU directives on competition in the digital area, such as product safety regulation (GPSR), and the role of UOKiK in this area.
Due to challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be limited to vaccinated guests only. The condition for live participation in the meeting is to present a certificate of complete vaccination against COVID-19, proof of recovery (digital or paper), or a negative coronavirus test issued by a medical facility, which cannot be older than 24 hours. Please remember to take the appropriate document with you.
