March Monthly Meeting with Grzegorz Piechowiak, Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Foreign Investment

We would like to invite you to our AmCham March Monthly Meeting with Grzegorz Piechowiak, Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Foreign Investment in the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, Baltic Room (3rd floor).

Poland is continuing to enjoy great success in attracting foreign investment, as it has for over 30 years since the economic transformation. Foreign investments in Poland have helped the economy to become a success story through its transformation by providing millions of new, high-quality jobs as well as helped Polish companies expand into international markets and supply chains.

The investment climate in Poland, both for new investment projects and reinvestments, remains the priority topic for AmCham. Investors gathered in AmCham are interested in the activities of the government in the field of supporting foreign investments in Poland by creating attractive conditions for investing capital on the Polish market. The plans of the state administration in the field of increasing innovation and improving energy security and cybersecurity in our country are also important.

2023 comes loaded with the issues impacting the economy and situation of foreign investors in Poland, starting from the increasing inflation and interest rates, geopolitical tensions and global energy crises. It is also a very special year with regards to the U.S.-Poland relations, that have never been so intense and significant.

We would like to talk with our guest speaker about the most important challenges and plans of the government regarding the support of foreign investments in Poland for 2023.

We are also interested to hear from Minister Piechowiak about the outcomes of his past visit to United States during which he met with the representatives of business, administration and 60 Million Congress and also to hear his comments with regards to the upcoming visit of U.S. President Joe Biden to Poland.
