Honeywell, a Fortune 100 global technology company and AmCham member, announced today that it is opening a Customer Experience Excellence Center in Katowice. The new location will provide customer support and services for Honeywell’s customers across Europe. Honeywell expects to hire 100 people at the center throughout 2019.

At the end of 2018, modern office stock in Poland’s eight biggest cities (Krakow, Wrocław, Tricity, Katowice, Poznań, Łódź, Szczecin and Lublin) stood at more than 4.9 million sq m (+12% y/y). Krakow, Wrocław and Tricity topped the league table for total office stock. The Wrocław office market was the second regional city after Krakow to see its volume of office space exceed one million sq m.

On February 14th AmCham’s newest Branch Manager Mateusz Jurczyk hosted his first event at the Holiday Inn Kraków Center Hotel. Our guest at the February Monthly Meeting was Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski. It was a great opportunity for Members to not only discuss business, but also to meet the Mayor of the city most of them reside in. During the meeting Richard Lada was recognized for his many years of work on behalf of AmCham.
