Best practices and guidelines for industrial plants operating during COVID-19 pandemic in Poland

“You cannot build jets from home”. While tech companies, law offices and financial institutions close their offices and require their employees to work from home, the manufacturing sector faces the challenge how to safely maintain production during COVID-19 time. On April 15 AmCham Industry & Energy Committee organized a webinar on best practices and guidelines for industrial plants operating during COVID-19 pandemic in Poland. Our speaker was Mr. Wojciech Więcławik, Board Member of CMC Polska who updated us on the best prevention actions at industrial plants and procedures for shutdown when the coronavirus is detected. We discussed how to ensure safety of workers of industrial plants, avoid contagion of workers from outside (vendors, customers), reduce the amount of contacts on the premises of the plant and  maintain operation and employment in industrial plants and ensure supply chain.
