On June 5th, 2018 was held the American Day in Katowice. The event was put together by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice and the Alumni Association. It was devoted to inspiring speeches, real business cases, best practices and great networking opportunities.
The keynote speakers were: Walter Braunohler (U.S. Consul General in Kraków), Tadeusz Donocik (President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice), Tomasz Zjawiony (Vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice); Thomas Zia (Political & Economic Officer, U.S Consulate General in Kraków); Mariusz Tomaka (President of the Board of the Polish-AmericanCooperation Council); Petros Tovmasyan (Coordinator of the Regional Center for International Debate); Beata Drzazga (Owner & President of the Board of BetaMed); Jacek Drabik (Director of AmCham Kraków & Katowice, CEO of Motorola Solutions; Charles R. Ranado (Counselor for Commercial Trade Section, U.S. Department of Commerce).
